Hort Galore and Floral Art Marquee
The largest marquee ever to be erected in the South Island will be the venue for the combined Hort Galore and Floral Art Marquee. Based on the Grand Pavillion at Chelsea Flower Show this marquee has multiple entrance and exits – ensuring no big queues in 2010!
The marquee will be filled with stunning exhibits from the horticultural clubs and societies around New Zealand which allows interaction between the visitors and our home grown experts hoping to inspire you with their passion for horticulture.
Also included in this marquee is the floral art segment of the show, more exhibits than ever, this section will be filled with the bouquet and beauty of flowers used in inspirational and unique ways.
Why not come along to our demonstrations, on the hour every hour, one of our horticultural experts or floral artists will be demonstrating their skills giving you the opportunity to talk a little bit of Ellerslie expertise home with you.
An incredibly popular marquee since its introduction to Ellerslie International Flower Show, this marquee is a worlds first and the envy of other international garden shows.
The exhibits within the marquee this year are fantastic examples of “Letting the imagination run riot”. The three exhibits are of a fantasy nature demonstrating stunning lighting effects in a non-traditional garden method. As in previous years we expect these exhibits to inspire and amaze, we once again believe this marquee will be a bit of a “show stopper”
